SHORT CV

Born in Ankara, Turkey in 1981. Finished her BA in 2003 in Dokuz Eylul University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphic Department. She did her MFA and PhD at Dokuz Eylul University, Institute of Fine Arts, on graphic arts and printmaking. In 2013 - 2014, she did a postdoctoral research at Central Saint Martins, London on letterpress printing. Bulut, participated in many national and international exhibitions in Hungary, Poland, Germany and Great Britain. Opened four solo exhibitions mainly. She is working on printmaking and bookmaking besides her academic carrier.

Ceren uses printmaking as the main tool to develop an artistic language. Context leads her journey of creativity and formation. Her focus is “the book” as an object in three dimensions and a platform for storytelling. She uses the book form not just for storytelling but also an exhibition space like artist’s book.
