He graduated from Gazi University, Department of English and he did his Master’s in Dokuz Eylül University on ELT. He went to the USA to receive training and education on teaching English and methodology , Flight Terminology - Phraseology as well as educational administration in Defense Language Institute, San Antonio, Texas.
Throughout his tenure in various schools and units in the Turkish Air Force, he worked as a teacher, educational administrator and department chief.
The books he wrote for the Turkish Air Force language School include the TOEFL Phenomenon, SKILLS 1-2-3-4 consecutively.
He has been working as a part time English teacher for Izmir University of Economics since 2010.
