SHORT CV
Having pursued a double-major in philosophy and economics at Trent University (Canada), I received my PhD in philosophy from Emory University (USA). My doctoral dissertation investigates the concept of experience in the works of M. Foucault: starting from certain themes in German Idealism's preoccupation with experience (especially those revolving around the transcendental/empirical divide), I examine how experience might be conceived once we give up transcendental arguments and immerse it in historical social practices. My current research interests and areas include: philosophy of communication, the limits of naturalism in ethics, and political philosophy.
