After graduating from Ege University in 1999, studying language and literature, I moved to the United Kingdom to continue my education and started my Master's degree in the UK. During my stay there, where I was also granted with UK citizenship, I taught English as a Second Language in various schools and occasions. Then I moved back to Turkiye in 2007 and completed both my Master's and Doctorate in English Language Teaching (ELT), specialising in SLA at Bahcesehir University. I worked in the preparatory of English language programmes at various universities and colleges in Izmır and am currently teaching at the Translation and Interpreting department and ENG for various departments at Economy University. I am a social and active person and try to do sports in my free time. I enjoy and love teaching English to groups who also love learning a second language for a professional purpose and career.
