SHORT CV

Aslı Melike Soylu received her bachelor's degree in English Translation and Interpreting, and minor degree in Sociology at Izmir University of Economics with a full scholarship. She completed her undergraduate education as the top student of the 2021-2022 academic year. She also won first place in the English category of the 2022 Young Translators Competition organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Directorate for European Union Affairs. After graduation, Soylu did a long-term internship on Dubbing Translation. She is now pursuing her master's degree in English Translation and Interpreting at Dokuz Eylül University and working as a Research Assistant in the Department of English Translation and Interpreting at Izmir University of Economics. She also worked in a TUBITAK 1001 Project (220K032) as a scholar between 2022-2023.
