After graduating from American Collegiate Institute in Izmir, Banu Kitiş Dağıstan studied management in Bilkent University, Ankara. She received her master’s degree in communication strategies and public relations from Galatasaray University, İstanbul. She started her career as an MT (Management Trainee) at Çukurova Media Group and worked as an editor at the monthly economics magazine Platin. She then joined Dogus Media Group and took part in the establishment of Robb Report Magazine in Turkey, being the editor-in-chief of the publication. Later, she continued her career in corporate communications, managing the communication activities of Palmiye Park branded construction projects. She took an active role on creating and promoting a new antique bazaar: Kemeraltı Antikacılar Çarşısı. As a strong believer on the future of shared economy business model, she is one of the founding partners of GoyaHub which offers office spaces. Currently she writes for periodicals about management, entrepreneurship and marketing. She lectures copywriting in public relations at the Faculty of Communications, İzmir University of Economics.
