Berna KIRKULAK-ULUDAĞ is a professor of finance at Dokuz Eylül University in Turkey, an adjunt faculty at Maastricht School of Managament in the Netherlands, and also a visiting professor at Southeast University in China. She received her PhD in economics from Hokkaido University in Japan. Her research interests lie in the areas of emerging markets, investment and resource policy. She is involved in a number of research projects including UNESCO, COST Actions, TUBITAK, KOSGEB, IZTO and IZKA. Her papers have been published in Applied Economics, the Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Emerging Markets Finance andTrade, Physica A, Research in International Business and Finance, The International Journal of Accounting, among others.
