Burçak Alp, graduated from Hacettepe University Food Engineering Department. She has completed her master degree at Hacettepe University Food Engineering department in Biotechnology. She was awarded TÜBİTAK-British Council Chevening Scholarship and continued her research in The University of Manchester (formerly known as UMIST), Chemical Engineering Department. She has received her PhD in the Chemical Engineering Department, The University of Manchester. She worked as a research fellow at University College London (UCL) , Institute of Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal Sciences, Tissue Repair and Engineering Centre. She collaborated with the companies and carried out industrial projects. She also got education from London Business School. She got MBA level training from University of Stratchlye Business School as an Enterprise Fellow with her patented Project. Her research interests include tissue regeneration, biosensors and biomaterials.
