Ece Kureli Gulpinar got bachelor's degree from Eskisehir Osmangazi University, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Architecture, in 2010. In 2013 she received her MSc degree with her thesis entitled "Documentation, cartography and Pre-Assessment of Ankara Industrial Heritage (1925-1963)" from Gazi University, Ankara. She completed her doctoral studies in 2021 with her PhD dissertation entitled "Urban-Spatial Analysis of Mass Housing Environments: Mapping Batikent in search of alternatives to generic housing" at the Department of Architecture at the Middle East Technical University.
During her Research Assistantship at Izmir University of Economics in 2012, she assisted and participated in the studio courses and did the organization/coordination of many workshops, exhibitions, and academic seminars as well as their graphic design.
As of 2020, she continues to work as a Lecturer.
