SHORT CV

M. Elma Corujo González received her BS in Management and Business Administration from Cantabria University (Spain). She also holds International Business Diploma from Ulster University (N. Ireland, UK). She completed two master´s degrees, Master in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and Master in Marketing Management from Cantabria Univestiy (Spain). Later, she also completed two Post-Graduates, one in Management and Negotiation of Tourist Destinations and other in Entrepreneurship in the same university. She is accredited examiner of DELE Examinations from Instituto Cervantes. After working several years in Italy, in the field of business consultancy, she started to teach Spanish for Specific Purposes (Spanish for Business). She received her doctorate degree in Linguistic (summa cum laude) in the Department of Filology, Communication and Documentation at Alcalá University (Madrid, Spain). Her primary research interests lie in terminology, lexicography and teaching languages for specific purposes. She has been working at IEU since 2016.
