Emrah Genis holds a BA and an MA in the Department of American Culture and Literature at Ege University. He also received a TESOL Certificate from Arizona State University over Coursera. He worked as an Instructor of English at Ege University School of Foreign Languages between 2010 and 2015; and at Gediz University School of Foreign Languages between 2015 and 2016. From 2016 to 2023, he taught English in K12 level in Izmir and also served as Head of Department and SAT/AP Coordinator. He has been working at Izmir University of Economics since 2023.
