Emre Can graduated from İzmir Atatürk High School in 1999 and from the Faculty of Political Sciences of Ankara University in 2003. Since 2004, he worked as a research assistant in the Department of Economics at İzmir University of Economics. He completed his master degree in Financial Economics as a scholarship student. Afterwards he had his second master degree in economics from Catania University by gettig full scholarship from Italian Government. His topics of master theses cover the field of Banking Sector in Turkey and Valuation. He started to work in TURKDEX in 2010 and in Borsa Istanbul in 2013. He is currently working in the private sector and since 2009, he has been giving lectures on finance and economics at the vocational school, undergraduate and graduate level and he has been teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in economics, finance and risk especially since 2014. Emre Can wrote his Ph.D thesis with Prof. Dr. Ayla Oğuş Binatlı about "The Modeling the CBRTs Interventions in the Foreign Exchange and Interest Market". Articles of Emre Can have been published in national and International journals.
