SHORT CV
Göktuğ Karpat obtained his undergraduate degree in 2007 from the Physics Department of İzmir Institute of Technology. He then received his PhD degree in Physics in 2013 from the Engineering and Natural Sciences Faculty of Sabancı University. After his PhD, he has worked as a post doctoral researcher in Sao Paulo State University in Brazil for about three years, and in Turku Center for Quantum Physics in Finland for another year. He has joined the Physics Department of İzmir University of Economics in 2017 as a faculty member. His research interests include the topics of theory of open quantum systems, quantum correlations, and quantum information theory.
