Asst. Prof. Dr. Günnur Güler graduated from İzmir Institute of Technology, Physics Department (2008). She received her master's degree (2010) and Ph.D. (2014) from the Institute of Biophysics Frankfurt Goethe-University in Germany. During her studies in Germany, she worked as a Research and Laboratory Teaching Assistant, and she was financially supported by the German Research Foundation. Moving to Turkey, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher (2015-2019) at ARGEFAR, Ege University by receiving a repatriation grant from Tübitak-2232 program. She also made practical-scientific visits (2017-2018) to Switzerland (Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics), Germany (Frankfurt Max-Planck Institute of Biophysics) and Belgium (Université Libre de Bruxelles) and she worked as a Lecturer (2017-2019) at İzmir Institute of Technology. Günnur Güler has been working in İzmir University of Economics Biomedical Engineering since February 2019. Her research interests include Biomedical Spectroscopy, Biophysics, Nanobio, Biophotonics, Biophysical Chemistry, Biosensors, Docking simulation, Chemometrics, Cell membrane proteins and fluidity, Enzymes, Drug studies, Cancer and stem cell research.
