He completed his primary and secondary education in Denizli and his high school education in Gölhisar Burdur. She completed her undergraduate education in Nursing at Dokuz Eylül University in 2009 and her PhD in Surgical Nursing at Dokuz Eylül University in 2018. She worked as a nurse in Dokuz Eylül University Emergency Service between 2009-2010, and in Tepecek Training and Research Hospital Anesthesia and Reanimation Intensive Care Unit between 2010-2011. Since 2015, she has been a board member of the Turkish Surgery and Operating Room Nursing Association and has working at Izmir Democracy University since 2020. She works as a lecturer. She received the title of Assoc. Prof in 2023.
Assoc. Prof. Hale Turhan Damar has spoken at international and national congresses and symposiums on orthopedic nursing, falls, elderly patients, bibliometric studies, and operating rooms, published articles in national and international journals, and authored chapters in books.

Hale Turhan Damar is married and the mother of two children.
