Dr. Hasan ÇELİK is graduated from Ataturk University Mechanical Engineering BSc program in 2010 and completed his MSc degree at Izmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH) Mechanical Engineering department in 2012. In the same year, he started his Ph.D. studies at IZTECH and also, he started working as Research Assistant in the Mechanical Engineering Department. During his Ph.D. studies, he has been as Visiting Researcher at Seconda Universita degli Studi di Napoli six months and one year at Shizuoka University – Japan and completed his Ph.D. thesis in Japan. He graduated from IZTECH Mechanical Engineering Ph.D. program in 2017. Following the graduation, he joined TUSAS Engine Industries (TEI) as Aerodynamics Engineer, and in a year, he promoted to Combustion Aerodynamics Lead Engineer. He worked on several turbojet and turboshaft engine projects. He joined the faculty of Izmir University of Economics Mechanical Engineering Department in February 2019. His research areas include heat transfer enhancement by porous media, gas turbine engine combustion chamber cooling system design and conjugate heat transfer analyses, uncertainty quantification in CFD, spray combustion, and atomization.
