SHORT CV

İlker Kahraman completed his undergraduate, graduate and doctorate degrees at Dokuz Eylül University. His main subject of study is sustainable buildings and built environments. He has publications in different journals and books on this subject. He is a board member of the International Initiative for Sustainable Built Environment.
Dr. Kahraman has completed two projects of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanism and Climate Change to promote sustainable built environments, supported by GIZ, with his research company. He also served as Turkey team leader in the Integrated Building Design Approach project supported by GEF, UNDP, Ministry of National Education, Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.
He continues his work on sustainable built environment with COST project (CA 21103)- Implementation of Circular Economy in the Built Environment (CircularB), as a member of the board of directors,. He has research projects with doctorate and master's studies. He is married and has a child.
