Metehan Feridun Sorkun graduated from Izmir University of Economics as the top student of the 2009-2010 academic year. In addition to his degree in Logistics Management, he also completed the double major program in International Trade & Finance. In 2011, he got admitted to the Ph.D. program in “management” jointly organized by the Ca'Foscari University of Venice, University of Padua, and University of Verona. During his Ph.D., He has also resumed his research activities in the University of Greenwich for 6 months as a “visiting scholar”. He received his Ph.D. degree in 2016 and has been working at the Department of Business Administration, Izmir University of Economics since 2017. He has published many studies in international journals and became the associate professor in operations management in 2020. He is also currently the coordinator of MBA program in Izmir University of Economics.
