Mine Güngörmüşler received her B.Sc. degree in 2007 in Biology at Hacettepe University. Following, she received her M.Sc. degree in 2010 and Ph.D. degree in 2014 in Bioengineering at Ege University. During her Ph.D. research, starting from February 2012, she received a scholarship from ERASMUS Exchange Programme and participated in an Italian Language School followed by a project for 3 months in the Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental, and Materials Engineering at University of Bologna in Italy. Afterward, between October 2012 and October 2013, she completed her TUBITAK (2214) funded project on proteomic analysis in the Department of Biosystems Engineering at the University of Manitoba in Canada. Following her experience in a multinational company for 3 years, she has been appointed Assistant Professor to the Department of Food Engineering in 2017. Additionally, she has been appointed Programme Coordinator to the Bioengineering Graduate Programme in 2018. Her research areas include biotechnology, microbiology, proteomics, biopolymer production, fermentation, and environmental biotechnology.
