Neslihan Kansu Yetkiner received her undergraduate degree and MA degree from Hacettepe University, Turkey, Department of Translation and Interpreting, and her Ph.D. from University of Groningen, Department of Language and Communication, the Netherlands, being awarded by Ubbo Emmius Scholarship. She previously worked at TÖMER as English/Turkish instructor, part time lecturer of Modern Turkish Studies at University of London, SOAS, (School of Oriental and African Studies), and as a research assistant at Hacettepe University, Department of Translation and Interpreting. Neslihan Kansu-Yetkiner is currently working at İzmir University of Economics, Department of English Translation and Interpretation as full Professor. Her major research areas are pragmatics and translation, corpus-based translation studies, translation of children’s literatüre and critical discourse analysis. In addition to many articles published in national and international journals, Kansu-Yetkiner directed two TUBITAK 1001 projects (111K344 and 115K145)on Translation Studies.
