Osman Nuri Özdoğan was born in Akşehir. He graduated from Muğla Anatolian Hotel and Tourism Vocational School (1994). He got his BA degree from Gazi University Faculty of Commerce and Tourism(1999), MSc. Degree from Adnan Menderes University Institute of Social Sciences Department of Tourism Management (2002), and PhD. Degree from Dokuz Eylül University Institute of Social Sciences Department of Tourism Management(2006). He visited Oklahoma State University with Turkish Higher Education Council's Scholarship in 2012.Dr. Ozdogan, has worked in various national and international hotel chains and working as part time lecturer in Izmir University of Economics since 2008.
His research fields consist of financial management in food and beverage and hospitality businesses, food safety , food and beverage management and new trends in food and beverage industry.
