Özge Coşkun Aysal was born in Manisa in 1979. She graduated from the Department of Translation and Interpretation at Bilkent University in 2002. After she graduated from Bilkent University, she worked for the Canadian Embassy in Ankara for three years as Translator and Interpreter and provided interpretation services at very high level diplomatic meetings. She received her English Language Teaching Certificate from Başkent University in 2005. She joined IUE in 2005. She has participated in various teacher research projects and a great number of events on teacher development. She holds an MA in Translation and Interpretation from Dokuz Eylül University. She received a certificate in Managing in Education in 2014 and Coaching and Team-building in 2018. She is now continuing her doctoral studies at the Department of Educational Administration and Supervision, Dokuz Eylül University. She is now working as the Assistant Director of the School of Foreign Languages. She has participated in different ELT organizations and given presentations on ELT. She is one of the founding members and the Supervisory Board members of the newly founded association in Turkey ‘İngiliz Dili Öğretimi Ve Mesleki Gelişim Derneği’ (TESOL Turkey). She is also an Executive Board Member of TESOL TURKEY LAMSIG. Her particular interest is in lifelong learning and educational management.
