Özge Coşkun Aysal is the Assistant Director of the School of Foreign Languages at Izmir University of Economics. She is a PhD Candidate in Educational Administration. She is a founding member of the TESOL Türkiye Executive Board and a founding member of the TESOL Türkiye LAMSIG Executive Board, where she is currently serving as a co-coordinator of the SIG. Özge is also a member of the TESOL Türkiye Quality Special Interest Group (QUASIG) Executive Board and TESOL Türkiye’s Associate Network Professional Council. She is a trained reviewer for DEDAK, Türkiye’s language program accrediting body, as well as CEA (the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation) and also serves as an Eaquals Consultant.
Özge Coşkun Aysal is the Chair of the SFL Policies and Procedures Committee at IUE. At the institutional level, she is also working as a member of the University’s Micro-Credentials Working Group, the SFL Quality Commission, the SFL Bologna Coordination Commission, and the Strategic Planning Commission at IUE. Her primary research interests are Educational Leadership and Administration, Micro-Credentials and Digital Badges, Quality Assurance and Accreditation, Psychological Safety, Inclusive Leadership and Learning Organizations. As a member of the İzmir University of Economics Micro-Credentials Working Group, Özge Coşkun Aysal continues her work on the Academic and Employability Skills Micro-Credentials Program project. Additionally, she is involved in the ‘Connect4Innovation’ project, supported by the British Council, which aims to equip students with the skills sought by the business world through micro-credentials. Most recently, on March 1, 2024, she co-coordinated the "Beyond the Diploma: Skills, (Micro)Credentials, and Employability" Conference held at İzmir University of Economics.
