She graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Fine Arts Education Department in 2002. In 2007, she completed her master education. In 2013 she had her Ph.D degree from Dokuz Eylül University, Institute of Fine Arts. During the Fall Semester of 2013-14 Akademic Year, she worked as a visiting researcher at UdK (Universität der Künste Berlin) Institute for Art in Context with DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) scholarship. She worked as a research assistant at DEU Faculty of Fine Arts Painting Department between 2005 - 2013 and as an assistant professor at MKU Faculty of Fine Arts Graphic Department between 2014-2018. Currently she is working as an assistant professor at Izmir University of Economics, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Visual Communication Design.
As an artist and curator, she participated in various exhibitions in Izmir, Istanbul and Finland. She has researches and artistic studies on the relationship between literature and visual arts and publishes articles in art magazines such as Art Unlimited, Milliyet Sanat, Warhola and Istanbul Art News etc. She is the co-founder of the collective art space KARANTİNA and the Dahili Bellek independent research initiative.
