After graduating from Business Administration Department of Dokuz Eylül University in 2000, she worked for four years in private brokerage houses and seven years in private manufacturing enterprises. After working as an investment specialist in private brokerage houses, she worked as a financial and accounting controller at private manufacturing enterprises. She received her Master's degree from Dokuz Eylül University's Financing Program and continued her doctoral studies at Dokuz Eylül University the same year. She has publications in international journals such as Business and Management Horizons, Accounting and Management Information Systems, Journal of Economics and Management, Emerging Market Finance and Trade.
