Selin Güngör is a Ph.D. student at the Architecture Program at İzmir Institute of Technology, Turkey. She holds bachelor and master’s degrees in Interior Architecture and worked as a Research Assistant at the Interior Architecture Department of Yaşar University where she assisted courses on history of design; history of art and culture; corporate identity design; and worked as an organization committee member of several conferences. Her academic experiences include work with students at Chiba University, Japan; coursework at École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs-Paris, France; and training on design education at Escola Superior de Artes e Design, Porto, Portugal. Her research interests include history of art and design, space and identity, spatial representation, gender and space, theory of modern interior architecture and scenic design.
