SHORT CV

Serdar Savaşan was born in 1987 in Izmir. In 2009, he received his bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management (ranked 1st in his class) and minor degree in Business Administration from Izmir University of Economics. Then, he moved to London for his post-graduate studies. In 2011, he completed a post-graduate certificate program in marketing at European School of Economics. In 2012, he received his master’s degree in Trade and Finance (ranked 2nd in his class) from Cass Business School.

Serdar started his proffessional career in London Office of Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism. After he came back to Turkey in 2013, he started working for JTI (Japan Tobacco International) as a Financial Analyst. Then, he was assigned to an international JTI project and moved to Jordan as ERP Project Coordinator. Following JTI, he moved on his career at Hatti Food Inc. as Trader / Sales Broker until 2017. At present, Serdar is managing his own business and teaching Applied Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management course as a part time lecturer at Izmir University of Economics.
