Tolga Genç completed his high school education at Bornova Anatolian High School and graduated from the Economics Department at Middle East Technical University (METU). He worked in the banking sector for 16 years, including Head Office, Regional Management, and Branch levels. Most recently, while serving as a branch manager, he completed his master’s and, as of August 2022, his doctorate in Finance and Banking at Kadir Has University. From February 2017 to October 2023, he worked as a part-time lecturer in the Vocational School Accounting and Tax Practices, Foreign Trade, and Banking and Insurance programs at İzmir University of Economics and Yaşar University. Tolga Genç has published work in economics and finance. He is married and has a son.
