She graduated from Erciyes University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Japanese Language and Literature in 2002. She has been working as a “Sworn Translator” since 2002.
Between 2003 and 2009, she worked as the Import-Export Operations Manager and Overseas Customer Representative at Yonca Gıda Sanayi A.Ş. and participated in international fairs.
In 2010, she founded Akcan Management Consultancy, which provides services for obtaining State Incentives in Exports.
Since 2016, she has been working as a Japanese Instructor in the Department of Foreign Languages, Izmir University of Economics. She provides training in Japanese writing-speaking and Japanese culture.
In 2024, she started her Master's Degree in "Corporate Communication" at the Public Relations Department of Ege University.
