She completed her BA in Visual Communication Design in Turkey and Portugal and her MA in Graphic Arts in Turkey and Italy. In her professional career as a designer, she specialized in gastronomy and ceramic tile industry as well as digital visualization and color management. Since 2007, when she started her undergraduate studies, she has worked in advertising agencies for local and global brands and took an active role as a designer in the marketing and design teams of international companies. Within the scope of European Voluntary Service, she worked as a volunteer designer in Portugal for a while and participated in Erasmus+ projects in Europe. At the same time, while continuing her artistic productions, her works have been exhibited through the University of Porto, BASE Istanbul, Macerata Academy of Fine Arts, Good Design Izmir. As of 2023, while continuing her career as a research assistant in the Department of Visual Communication Design, she worked as a teaching assistant in Art and Design Studio I, Art and Design Studio II, Drawing Studio II, Design Studio IV and Design Studio V courses. She frequently took part in the events organized within the faculty and department; she also undertook the process of designing the visual identity of the graduation exhibition and fashion show of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design in 2023 and 2024. At the same time, she continues her research in the Design Studies PhD programme, where she is a full scholarship student.
